You immediately feel special as you enter and are smoothly escorted past the spectacular wine cellar (one of two), through the elegant dining rooms lined with rich dark woods and filled with elegant furniture overlooking the beautifully lit courtyard with glowing fire and subtle lighting and the valley beyond, and finally to your reserved table. Even in darkness the view was breathtaking.

Once comfortably seated the maître d’ appears to greet you and inquire after any special dining requirements, as well as to introduce you to the many staff at your disposal. He then uses his personal wit and charm to transition the evening to dinner, leaving you with your sommelier who, armed with a rolling trolley, details the current wine features. From here on in your only requirement is to choose from the 3-course up to 10-course Grande Degustation menu, and to relax and enjoy the pampering. Everything presented is of the highest quality and as pleasing to the eye as on the palate. When we reluctantly left we were presented with a personal note from the staff and a lovely gift to remember our experience by. Our taste buds anticipate with relish our next visit.
